Auditions:

Monday, May 11th, 2026 at 6:30pm- 9:30pm

Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 at 6:30pm- 9:30pm

Callbacks:

Wednesday, May 13th, 2026 6:30pm.

Auditions and Callbacks will take place at the Selma Senior Center 

Age Requirements: All Actors must be between the ages of 13 - 17yrs by the first day of Rehearsals, May 25th, 2026

If cast in the production, a $50 costume fee will apply -- Scholarship Opportunities will be made available.

The Auditions: Auditions are the actor’s opportunity to showcase their acting, vocal, and movement talents, as well as their personality and ability to prepare. Prior to the auditions, you must submit an Online  Audition Form. Performers are then encouraged to make an appointment via Sign Up Genius. Those without an appointment will be seen on a walk-in basis, as time permits. 

Audition Requirements: (TRACKS ONLY) Please come prepared with an instrumental/karaoke track of your audition song. No accompanist will be provided. We will have a Bluetooth speaker available for use

Callbacks: Callbacks will be held May 13th 6:30pm at the Selma Senior Center. Should you receive a callback, please be prepared to print your own side or have a device to read them on. Printed sides will be limited. Callbacks will include a singing and reading round and a choreography round. Please dress in whatever you’re most comfortable in.

Some auditioners may be released early, however this does not impact your chances of being cast.

Video Auditions: If you are unable to make the general auditions (we strongly recommend an in person audition), an accompanied video recording of the required materials specified above may be submitted on or before May 12th, 2026 at 8:00 PM to SelmaArtsCenterAuditions@gmail.com. Please send via unlisted YouTube link.

Performances July 24th - August 8th 2026

CDC Guidelines: There is no current mask mandate, but you are welcome to be masked for your own safety. Masks may be enforced throughout the rehearsal process. Guidelines are subject to change.

Rehearsal Dates and Times:

There will be a cast and company meeting/orientation on May 18th at 6:30pm at the Selma Senior Center (2301 Selma St., Selma CA 93662)

Rehearsals for this production will be held Monday through Thursday from 6:30PM - 9PM

Performances:

Running July 24th, 25th, 26th, 30th, 31st August 1st, 2nd, 6th, 7th, 8th.

The show runs for a total of three weekends. All evening performances begin at 7:30pm and matinee performances begin at 2:00pm.
